Setting up a team

Once you added TimeBot to your Slack, it will greet you with a message, and the first thing you should do is to create a team that you manage. Please note, that there's no chance to create teams for other managers as each manager need to do it themselves.   

  • Let's find TimeBot in the Slack Apps section 
  • open it on its Messages tab  
  • here you'll see the greeting message from the bot offering to create a new team  
  • click that button. 

  • In a pop-up window you'll see a default team name that you can edit  
  • select the members that you manage.

Please note, that in case you manage multiple teams, all the people should be added to the Members field at this step.

When all the employees selected, click the Create button to finish.

You can also set up your team on the Home tab by clicking the Become Manager button and following the steps given above.
